My journey to build Sila has been driven by an insatiable curiosity about the world and our place in it.

Annette Kim - Alignment Architect - Founder of Sila

My personal path isn’t linear, and my list of achievements aren’t recognized by certificates, titles or accolades of any sort. I’ve spent countless hours observing our culture, our peers and most crucially, myself. And you know what I realized? We don’t have to conform to the cookie-cutter molds society often pushes towards us as the only way to achieve success in our career and personal fulfillment.

Now, don’t get me wrong - I owe it to corporate America for the invaluable skills it continues to teach me. But it also exposed gaps in our pursuit of a well-rounded life that doesn’t depend solely on the corporate climb.

My professional path moved me through various industries, from marketing and sales,
to business development and retail operations. I’ve soaked up insights about how teams and systems operate and the incredible impact an individual can have in these dynamic environments. Through it all, I’ve closely watched different leadership styles, encountered a kaleidoscope of personalities and learned things I never thought I would.

Here's what I can say with confidence: you and I share a knack for deep thinking.

We believe being in rhythm with ourselves is one of the most powerful forces of being. My superpower, if you will, lies in seeing the bigger picture, crafting plans with depth, and helping people stay grounded in their own skin. As an Alignment Architect, I design spaces, strategies & experiences that bring you home to your inner clarity. That's where I can make a difference—for anyone who's ready to shake things up a bit. Life is a constant metamorphosis, and there is such beauty to that. I’m here to share my wisdom and talents to guide you through your own personal journey and relieve the pressure.

Integrated Practice

The indigenous Inuit people coined the transcendent word, Sila, to refer to interconnected concepts & the process of ongoing, continuous change. Depending on the context, Sila indicates the connection of all life & senses - intellectual, biological, psychological, environmental and geographical. It can mean the earth, people, spirits, cosmos and life force.

I will use Sila as our northstar, honoring your whole life experience, the world around you and the many ways you continue to evolve. All elements connect. Your mental clarity contributes to your mission, and your physical ease informs your values.
